Meeting as a community
After completing a Going Further with Buddhism course, you are welcome to come to Sangha Night on Mondays, a rolling programme of Buddhist practice including talks, discussion, ritual and meditation
More about Sangha Night
We usually (but not always) have meditation and a little ritual, often in the form of a three-fold puja. If you are new to puja and chanting you can watch, there is no obligation to take part. The evenings are a warm and friendly occasion where newcomers are always welcomed.
Sangha Nights are usually in themed blocks of half a dozen or so sessions, but you do not have to attend every one, nor wait until a new series begins. There are sometimes one-off evenings between series.
Some people eat together before Sangha night, or just have a cup of tea, and you are welcome to join them in the tea area.
More information
You will be given more information on Sangha Night towards the end of your Going Further course and there will be plenty of opportunity for questions.
You can also speak to one of our receptionists or contact Chandana on Chandana [at] manchesterbuddhistcentre [dot] org [dot] uk if you would like to know more.
