Young Indian Futures

NagpurLocal Order member Shakyajata gives an update on the progress of the young people she is working with in India

Nagpur, Central India

A group of ten young people from poor families have successfully completed a course in animation and computer graphics, funded by the Dhammaloka charity and the Aryaloka Education Trust. This week, they have all been invited for a test and job interview, by a major animation company in Pune.

Dozens more like them, from all over India are starting on this road to independence through training — but right now, they need your help — they have no resources of their own yet.

Raising funds

Shakyajata is raising funds for Dhammaloka, which supports social and Dhamma projects across India and also in Nepal.
