Why Karuna?
Karuna’s name is a Sanskrit word that broadly means to take compassionate action to diminish the suffering of others. Seeing fundraising as a spiritual practice, they are currently seeking people to give their time in 2011 to join their appeals work.

Local order member Shakyajata works with Young Indian Futures in India, and here in the UK she is raising funds for them and sharing news of their work — the next event at our Centre is October’s Indian-themed Celebration — everyone is welcome
