Work as a spiritual practice

Date:
Sunday 28th March 2010
Time:
10.00–5.00pm
Led by:
Taravandana
Description:

UNFORTUNATELY THIS EVENT HAS NOW BEEN CANCELLED — WE HOPE TO RUN IT LATER IN THE YEAR. SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE CAUSED

The koan of deepening our spiritual practice, of wanting to become more kind and clear to benefit all beings whilst trying to meet objectives and deadlines is puzzling and intriguing

Yet, wisdom and compassion can be found in the midst of the day job and, with the right approach, we can be completely ‘awake at work’

During this day we will connect with the values and purpose that inform our lives at work, and explore and reflect upon how to be authentic at work, whilst also accepting that work is a ‘mess in progress’

Taravandana has many years experience of both working in the NHS and with Buddhist teams. She runs her own training business and is particularly interested in exploring how coaching techniques can support Dharma practice
