Join a group of friendly Buddhists on our monthly walk

This month’s walk

May’s outing is a medium grade seven mile linear walk from Bury out through Burrs Country Park, winding out way up to Summerseat before a climb up Holcombe Hill to Peel Tower for great views of Manchester.

We will then descend to Ramsbottom to take in the delights of the Chocolate Cafe before a nostalgic ride on the East Lancs Railway steam train back to Bury.

The walk is fairly easy going and involves an uphill stretch to Peel Tower and should take approximately four hours.
