Learn meditation techniques to develop awareness and positivity
Meditation helps us to develop awareness and mindfulness, and also positive feelings. It helps us to get to know and change our mind. Over time meditation can bring about a gentle but radical transformation
It is not just about learning techniques and following instructions — it is also about understanding the ‘spirit’ of meditation. It is best to get to know this through contact with an experienced teacher — someone who is in touch with that spirit.
Two meditation practices
The two traditional Buddhist meditations we teach are the mindfulness of breathing to develop awareness, and a loving-kindness meditation or metta bhavana, for positivity.
