Help keep the Centre beautiful. Today we’ll be painting

Part of my work at the MBC is to make sure we care for the Centre. I look out for what needs to be done and then gather volunteers together to help with the various projects. Recently a number of people worked together to remove the window boxes and a few months ago a team of us cleaned the flooring on the ground floor.
More recently a few of us repainted the reception counter and the fire door down to Earth café. This way we have made progress little by little.
The Centre is very busy nearly every weekend and I’ve been trying to find some time when we are closed to do more redecorating. On the hit list is applying new coats of paint to the first floor toilets and the doors, to all the fire doors and the corridor walls by the wooden stairs.
Can you help?
Please think about coming along to help. It would be great if you can manage a whole day but even a couple of hours will make a huge difference.
Giving your time and energy is a really excellent way to make a stronger connection to the Centre and make new friendships in the Sangha.
Doing work like this on my own can feel a bit overwhelming but it’s a breeze and much more fun if a few of us can come together.
