Description:

A small informal gath­er­ing to deepen your med­it­a­tion prac­tice, to receive more guid­ance or to spend an after­noon feel­ing calmer and more positive

Newcomers who have already learned our two main med­it­a­tion prac­tices are very wel­come. lf
you need to be reminded of the stages dur­ing the med­it­a­tion, that’s fine.

The cur­rent pat­tern of the after­noon is usually:

  • 2.30 pm Mindfulness of breath­ing practice
  • 3.10 pm Walking med­it­a­tion, or some­times we dis­cuss state­ments about the dharma,
    see­ing where we can increase our day to day aware­ness and compassion
  • 3.20pm — 4pm Metta bhavana or lov­ing kind­ness — a way of chan­ging ourselves and our atti­tudes to oth­ers and the world
  • This is a drop-in

    No need to enrol, no need to come every week, come when you can

Anyone who has learnt the mind­ful­ness of breath­ing and the metta bhavana meditations
