Have you come across FWBO News yet? It’s a free online newsletter celebrating what’s going on around the FWBO (and the TBMSG in India)
It’s the FWBO’s main movement-wide medium for keeping in touch with ourselves as an international and very diverse sangha.
There’s something new on it several times a week. It’s edited more-or-less single-handedly by Lokabandhu who lives down in Glastonbury, Somerset.
It’s hosted on the FWBO News Website where you can read present and past stories. Once there, the best thing is to subscribe, after which it’ll come to you as a convenient email every couple of days. There’s a box marked FWBO NEWS DELIVERED where you simply enter your email address. Please be sure we won’t pass it on to anyone else!
The FWBO News site is also a portal to the very rich collection of FWBO resources on the internet: talks, videoclips; photos; meditation teaching materials and plenty more – these are mostly listed on the FWBO Resources for Schools page, for instance ClearVision’s great Ask A Buddhist service.
Over the past month it’s had all kinds of interesting stories, for instance:
- Opening of the first Little Buddha Children’s Clubs in India
- Launch of the new Dharma Training Course for Mitras
- Bhante’s Message to the Order
- Re-opening of the London Buddhist Centre and their new project, Breathing Space
- News of the Green Elephant charity shop in Sydney
Ands lots more of course
Thanks and we hope you enjoy it
