Dhammagita’s workshop on the breath, developed through her training with Reggie Ray

She will lead a vibrant exploration and appreciation of our human body in movement and stillness, designed to enhance wellbeing of the whole body-mind.
- Energy breathwork exercises to enliven the body-mind, stimulate sensation and enhance the dance of energy in every cell of the body
- Movement and stretches to open and loosen, help us let go of holding patterns and give us a felt sense of change
- Relaxation and grounding techniques to help us be more fully ‘here and now’ and connect with the solid, kind support of the earth
- Fun with an eclectic selection of music from swing to Balkan beats
- Stillness to know our experience fully and be with every sensation every moment, honouring our human being
The day is suitable for everybody and any body
… however in or out of touch you are with your body. You don’t have to be fit, energetic or anything but human to enjoy and benefit from the day. It is particularly useful for meditators or anyone who experiences stiffness or discomfort; lack of energy; stress, anxiety or lack of joy; a feeling of living mainly in your busy head.
Dhammagita
Dhammagita has a particular interest in the development of awareness through the body. In 2007 she completed a five month ‘Meditating With The Body’ training with Reginald Ray and continues in advanced training with him. She firmly believes that fun and spirituality not only can but must co-exist
