Maintaining the centre is a BIG undertaking!
Suryaka writes …
The centre depends on the Sangha to take care of it. Many volunteers already contribute to its upkeep all year round, helping with cleaning, decorating, DIY and so on. Many thanks to all those volunteers.
I’m now organising days where you can show your appreciation of the centre and give something back.
Having a day together gives us space to tackle some bigger jobs that can’t be easily done when the centre is open to the public. Why not come along? There are lots of benefits to taking part, you can meet and connect more with the sangha, have fun and see what a difference we can make.
We’ll start the day together with some meditation and finish with some relaxation and ritual. During the day we’ll work together on the ground floor, doing some cleaning and decorating. Please bring veggie lunch to share and work clothes.
I do hope to see you there. You can just turn up, but it will help me plan the day if you can let me know if you’re coming.
