Description:
A small informal gathering to deepen your meditation practice, to receive more guidance or to spend an afternoon feeling calmer and more positive
Newcomers who have already learned to meditate are very welcome
The current pattern of the afternoon is:
- 2.30 pm Mindfulness of breathing, including ideas from Reginald Ray
- 3.10 pm Walking meditation – a helpful way of taking mindfulness into the streets, every day
- 3.20pm — 4pm Metta bhavana or loving kindness — a way of changing ourselves and our attitudes to others and the world
This is a drop-in
No need to enrol, no need to come every week and it’s okay to join us at the 3.20 pm point if you can’t make the whole afternoon
Suitable for:
Anyone who has learnt the mindfulness of breathing and the metta bhavana meditations
