marks the beginning of the Buddha's teaching and is celebrated
throughout the Buddhist world.

Introducing you to the basics of meditation in an
informal and practical way, through discussion, input and exploring how
to apply it to our daily lives. At lunch time there is the option of
joining others on the course in bringing some vegetarian food to share
or eating at one of the local cafes.

Hebden Bridge
Grade: Easy/Medium
Distance: 6 - 8 miles
Ascent: Not much except a short steep section up
to Heptonstall
Led by: Paul Barnes
Description: A leisurely circular walk from Hebden
Bridge taking in Heptonstall and Hardcastle Crags. The exact details of
the walk will be decided on the day depending on the group and the
weather. We will hopefully lunch at the cafe at Gibson Mill so a packed
lunch will be optional - and we will undoubtedly be sampling one of
Hebden's many cafes at the end of the walk :)

Start: Hebden Bridge Train
Station at 11am. If travelling by train catch the 10.04 from Victoria.

Info: There is a large car

development of the Manchester Buddhist Centre from very humble
beginnings in a rented house in
Longsight, to the magnificent Centre in the city we have today. He will
also be thanking everyone who has, or is, contributing in any way to

- Full refunds are given for cancellations made more than
seven days in advance.
- Refunds are given for cancellations made less than
seven days before the event, with the following deductions for
administration costs:
- Introductory courses and day events: refund minus
£10 admin costs.
- Weekend events held at Manchester Buddhist Centre:
refund minus £20 admin costs.
- Bookings cannot be transferred to another event.
