Group vis­its

School and com­munity groups of all ages are wel­come on guided vis­its, which include a tour of the ground floor and shrine room, dis­cus­sion, ques­tions and answers, and an optional med­it­at­ive stilling exercise.

Training and Relaxation Days for Teachers

Clear Vision offers pop­u­lar teacher train­ing on Buddhism tailored to your syl­labus require­ments. We also offer Relaxation and Awareness Days: bring all the staff of your school or depart­ment for a relax­ing and inform­at­ive day in the beau­ti­ful sur­round­ings of the Manchester Buddhist Centre, with lunch at Earth Cafe.

A Buddhist vis­itor in your school?

The Pathways Project gives stu­dents the chance to meet a real live Buddhist in their school. We offer Buddhist drama and storytelling work­shops and also assem­blies for primary to AS/A2 level. We bring the RE syl­labus to life, explor­ing Buddhist per­spect­ives on cit­izen­ship, com­munity cohe­sion, iden­tity, and PHSE themes.

  • £50 per hour, or £240 for the whole day, includ­ing expenses
